Overview

Caversham to Mapledurham to Exlade Street and back via Sonning Common. The walk is mostly on lanes and paths but there is a short section through the residential areas of Caversham and Sonning Common and a short section along Chalkhousegreen Road (it's a B road). As ever, the paths can get muddy so please use appropriate footwear. Because it's February and the days are short, I'm keen to start a bit earlier than normal. A reflective patch on your rucksack and / or a torch would make the section on Chalkhousegreen Road a bit safer
