Walking from the RSPB car park we head down the track and turn off to head uphill on a steady climb up a mostly grassy track. We’ll then head up to the summit where we’ll hopefully get some great views! We’ll then head downhill. There are a couple of steep sections, but a pole or two will help if you need them. It’s likely to be boggy in a few places.
The route then circumnavigates Brown Fell and then on towards Tindale Tarn, past the Visitor Centre (toilets available) and then back to the car park.
For those who want to, we’ll call into the Hallbankgate Hub for coffee after the walk.
