An undulating walk that goes through the picturesque area of Cookham Dean with its attractive 19th Century Church, and along the top of Winter Hill with views of the River Thames and Chiltern Hills across the Thames Valley.
Walk starts at The Jolly Farmer, Church Road, Cookham, SL6 9PD. The pub has a small car park and there is street parking if you are not staying for lunch.
The walk includes a steep ascent which will be slippery. Walking poles are advisable. There will be an opportunity to miss out this path by backtracking after the break.
