Part 2 of the Elizabeth Line series will be a 12-mile linear walk between Twyford and Bracknell.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.
Pace: medium.
Walk details
Today’s walk will take us along part of the Wokingham Way between Twyford and Bracknell stations, where we’ll start off by walking parallel to the railway before walking under it to walk past Stanlake Meadow. From here, we’ll then walk along a footpath toward West End, where we’ll then head towards The Straight Mile, which takes us onto another path to take us under the M4 and onto the Wokingham Way. This will take us into Bracknell via Binfield, where we’ll pass Amen Corner, Wykery Copse and Mill Park to take us back towards Bracknell station. For those who want a pint at the end of the walk, we’ll be stopping off at The Old Manor, which is roughly a 5/10-minute walk from the station.
