Our walk from Handy Cross back to Hambledon takes us over farmland, and through woods, on footpaths and lanes, and possibly through some mud. We'll pass close to Wycombe Air Park, Blueys Farm and Marlow Common, with hopefully good views as we descend towards Bovingdon Green. We plan to stop for hot drinks and cake at Hambledon Village Shop towards the end of the walk.
We may hear clay pigeon shooting nearby on one section in the morning, and the walk has 1383 feet of ascent, with some steep hills mostly in the afternoon.
Please bring a picnic lunch, snacks and something to drink. We recommend wearing walking boots, and bringing trekking poles if you normally use them. No dogs on this walk please.
