Overview

A flat walk along the Kennet & Avon canal, as far as the Oracle (7 miles), or to the point where the Kennet and Avon flows into the Thames (8.5 miles). Park at Theale station and return by train from Reading (12 & 33 mins past the hour), or travel both ways by train, catching the 10:12 from Reading, arriving at Theale at 10:20. Note that the mileages quoted are the total mileages from Theale station to Reading station.
