We are the Penrith Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting along the Cumbria Way, we will walk to lonely Skiddaw House, up over Sale How to the col between Skiddaw and Little Man.
Time, weather and inclination permitting, a walk up to Skiddaw top may be added on at this point.
We will then summit Little Man and over to Lonscale Fell descending down alongside Whit Beck back to the car park.
Walk will be on good paths and tracks with some boggy parts around Skiddaw House and Sale How.
NB: length and ascent of walk are assuming we will summit Skiddaw
Although this is a strenuous walk, it will be undertaken at a moderate pace.
