Not really a romantic walk, but an easy flat walk with no stiles, taking in village, lake, heath, water meadows, river, locks and boats. We will pass several points of interest - Dunsborough Park, Papercourt Lake, the ruins of Newark Priory and Walsham Gates. We'll also walk along the towpath of the Wey Navigation
Conditions are likely to be muddy, depending on the weather conditions. There does not seem to be a place to stop for refreshments, so please bring something for the break, though cake and/or biscuits will be available! Cafes available in Ripley at end of walk, just a short walk from car park.
