We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the recreation field in Stockcross we will use paths, lanes and cycle tracks to cross the B4000 and the A4 to reach a tunnel under the A34. Then on to Speen Moor returning by St Marys Well to cross the A4 to reach Donnington Golf Course and the bridge over the A34 taking us through Bagnor to the Lambourn river and back to the recreation ground.
The number of walkers s not limited however please use the booking system so we know which members of the Ramblers Association are planning to attend.
Please bring food and drink for a mid morning break and appropriate clothing for an October walk.
At the far end of Stockcross on the B4000 coming from Newbury, the Stockcross Recreational Field is on the right.
