This 5.5-mile circular route takes us through an array of woodlands around Goring.

Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details

We start out walk at Goring and Streatley Station heading up to Wroxhills Wood. From there we make our way between Old Evendon Wood and Park Wood heading towards Blackbird's Bottom. We continue our walk west bound through Great Chalk Wood and back into Goring.

After our walk, for those that wish, we can head to The Catherine Wheel pub for a drink.

From Reading take the 09:32 train arriving at Goring and Streatley at 09:44.

Parking is available at the station, charges apply.
