Haroon Mota of the Muslim Hikers explores Thetford Forest in East Anglia. It’s the largest pine forest in the UK and a site of special scientific interest for its wildlife and plant species.
Haroon follows the waymarked Heritage Trail around High Lodge. It’s a 4km accessible route suitable for all abilities through the 4,000 year old forest landscape. Haroon enjoys a peaceful walk with the aroma of the pine trees on a smooth path that’s suitable for wheelchair users and children’s pushchairs.
