After a successful day last year and requests to run it again, we are pleased to announce our second ARCHERY FUN DAY. You don’t have to be Robin Hood, any one is welcome😊. The aim is to have fun outdoors, learn something new and meet new people.
This event is open to new members or those thinking of joining the Dorset 4050 Walkers and, of course, to our regular walkers.
Where?
The venue is Broadstone Middle School, Dunyeats Road, Broadstone BH18 8AE. There is parking available in the school car park, free of charge. See the red spot on the pic below.
How much will it cost?
The price per person will depend on our final numbers, but as a guide, if 10 people attend, the cost per person will be £34, but if we fill all our spaces and 20 people come along, the cost will drop to £14.50 per person. This cost includes a subsidy from the Group's funds.
The per person price includes:
- Safety briefing and tuition for barebow archery
- All necessary equipment (bows, arrows and protective arm and finger guards)
- Targets - five targets (so that 10 people can shoot at a time)
- Mini competitions including balloon-popping (subject to wind conditions).
Everyone is welcome to join us for refreshments afterwards at the Tap & Grape, 222-224 Lower Blandford Rd. Broadstone, BH18 8DJ.
