Overview

From Middleton In Teesdale we'll walk along the river, to Eggleston (public loo) and then over to Romaldkirk, a village with three greens, and stocks . We'll aim to have lunch at Romaldkirk on the green unless we get hungry beforehand.

Then we'll pick up the old railway line (not metro line, but it wouldn't have rhymed as nicely!) and head back to Middleton in Teesdale.

9.4 miles.

Parking - there's quite a bit of roadside parking in the town, and a car park at the far end of Middeton (W3W amps.activism.enough). Allow plenty of time to find a spot before the walk.
