Ramblers Tyneside Group uses coaches to walk & explore from the Scottish Borders to the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, from the Lakes to the Northumberland & Durham coasts.
Great Ayton is at the foot of the Cleveland Hills beneath Easby Moor and the distinctively-shaped Roseberry Topping. There is splendid walking to be had and on previous visits we have reached the top of Roseberry Topping, passed the Captain Cook Monument, stood on the Hanging Stone, and crossed the many moors in the area.
Our coach will drop parties of walkers and leaders from their starting point and all walks will finish at our destination today.
There will be a choice of walks - graded Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from.
Details of the walks will be available from our webpage and will also be passed round the coach on the day.

It will be there for boarding from 9.00am and will depart at 9.30am
The coach leaves our finishing point at 5:30 pm to return to Newcastle
Refreshments are always available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle
