We are the Take a Hike Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This year our annual general meeting will be held at a new venue, the Sunbridge Wells complex in Bradford city centre! The venue is the ground floor function room in Wallers Bar with lots of quirky decor, an authentic wood-fired pizza restaurant and take away 'La Caverna' , and a CAMRA real ale pub 'The Rose and Crown.'
We hope this change of venue will remain accessible to all from Leeds area, whilst being more inviting and inclusive to our members from further afield.
We will of course start with a round-up of the year's events. All committee members will be standing down, so all roles are open for you to put yourself forward! In addition, you can use this chance to raise any other Take A Hike business.
Once the AGM is done, the event will be a social occasion. We have our guest speaker Diane from Ramblers coming to tell us all about how we can make the group even better going forwards. Sian will be putting on a mini pub quiz drawing on club events from the year, amongst other topics. Last but not least, the winner of our walk leader prize draw will be drawn!
