Etal is a small village in the far north of Northumberland. It lies on a bridging point of the River Till ten miles south west of Berwick-upon-Tweed, and includes the substantial ruins of the medieval Etal Castle.
Our coach from Newcastle will drop parties of walkers and leaders at their starting point and all walks will finish at our common destination. There will be a choice of walks - graded Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from. Details of the walks can be downloaded from the Wednesday Boulevard Coach section of the Tyneside website, usually from the Monday evening before. Copies will also be passed round the coach on the day.
Refreshments will be available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle.
