Overview

This County Durham village lies between the A1 and the Durham coast. It provides a different area of the county to explore with its nature reserves and railway lines to walk.

Our coach from Newcastle drops parties of walkers & leaders at their starting point   Every week there is a choice of walks - Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous to choose from.   Details of the walks each week can be downloaded on  www.ramblers.org/tyneside - Wednesday Hancock Coach  from the Mon pm before and are passed round the coach.
