Ramblers Tyneside Group uses coaches to walk & explore from the Scottish Borders to the Yorkshire Dales & Moors, from the Lakes to the Northumberland & Durham coasts.

This week we are walking in the east of Cumbria not far from Carlisle an area of fells and rivers and the remains of ancient coal workings and old railways where the Rocket is rumoured to have reached 60mph. There are walks along the old track and fells to find as well as tarns and wildlife to see if you are lucky.
Our coach from Newcastle drops parties of walkers & leaders at their starting point. Every week there is a choice of walks - Easy, Leisurely, Moderate and Strenuous for you to choose from. Details of the walks each week can be downloaded on www.ramblers.org/tyneside - Wednesday Hancock Coach from the Mon pm before and are passed round the coach.
