We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk from Denmead using The Wayfarers Walk to head towards Hambledon. We skirt around Hambledon with great views over the village before stopping for coffee in the church yard. We will then head through Hambledon Vineyard and across the cricket ground before joining The Monarchs Way towards The Bat and Ball where we will have a picnic lunch in the cricket field opposite the pub. After lunch we head back towards Denmead on The Monarchs Way, tracks and country lanes.
This is a picnic walk, please bring snacks and drinks.
There are a few stiles and a couple of steep sections where poles would be helpful, particularly if it has been wet.

Kidmore Lane Car Park in Denmead has plenty of free parking and toilets!
