Overview

Starting form the main entrance to the station building we will walk up the hill behind the station and make our way out to Meldon walking along footpaths where we will meet the west Ockment then we will walk over the moor and meet the East Ockment river and follow this back towards the station. This route may have to change at the time due to the weather but will still start and finish at the railway station.

the full walk will be about 12 miles but there are lots of options for people to leave the walk early and make their own way back to the station along the Granite way or roads.

I will be going to the walk by train the train leaves Exeter St Davids 09:37, and arrives in Okehampton 10:17
