Overview

This easy, flat 9 mile walk should keep your boots pretty clean, even following our recent weather! We leave the carpark alongside the River Tees, walking Westwards. We cross over at the Millennium Bridge, and enjoy wandering along the water's edge in and around some of the university buildings. Our walk then takes us along the south of the Tees, to eventually say hello to a few dinosaurs. Despite being in an industrial area, this is usually a peaceful and interesting area to walk in. The return includes a walk next to the International White Water Centre.

There is also the option of a shorter walk for those who would like this.
