This walk which will last 5 hours takes in the earthworks of 3 old ruined Iron Age forts.
We will start by following the Wales Coastal Path from Pennard Cliffs National Trust car park. We will cross the stepping stones on 3 cliffs Beach and ascend to view the first fort which is on Great Tor.
Descending via Penmaen, we will then cut through Pennard to the Bishopston Valley to visit the second fort on Hanging Cliff.
We will then ascend from the valley to rejoin the coastal path and then visit our 3rd hill fort on Pwll du Head, before returning to Pennard car park.
