Overview

From the car park we climb up into Banstead Woods then drop back down into Chipstead Valley and into Shabden Park. Following the trail we reach Long Plantation and at the end of the wood we cross the railway line. From here, heading down to Chiphouse Wood, then climbing up to Perrots Farm, skirting Lunch Wood to re-enter Banstead Woods again. Through the woods and then the final descent takes us past the community orchard, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe and finally back to the car park. Some hills. Mostly woodland paths. Sticks recommended, especially if muddy.
