We are the Wellingborough Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk via The Washlands, Little Houghton, Cogenhoe, Little Billing and then back to Weston Favell. A mixture of hard paths, pavement walking through urban areas, villages and fields. There are no stiles and no ploughed fields to cross.
The Bold Dragoon has recently undergone a major renovation with a new restaurant area replacing the conservatory (Restaurant Forty-Eight). Need to check if they are doing bar snacks on the day but if available typically £8.00 for baguettes and £8.50 for jacket potatoes. It serves 5 Real Ales and gives 10% discount to CAMRA Members.
Meet at the Bold Dragoon. If not using the pub there is very limited parking in the Village. Weston Way is a few minutes walk away but has street parking. It may also be possible to park at Weston Favell Village Hall but I need to check whether the car park will be open. (It will but they have a booking)
