We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk starting in Chawton Park Wood, then through Medstead towards The Yew Tree pub in Lower Wield, where we stop for lunch, before returning to the start. The walking is fairly easy and mainly along woodland paths and grass tracks, with some good views, weather permitting. There may be some mud on the route, where walking poles may help. The distances are about 5 miles in the morning and about 3.5 miles in the afternoon. There will be a coffee stop mid-morning and opportunities for comfort stops along the way.
