Directions to car park: From Lyndhurst follow A4 West - Turn Left into Ornamental drive and car park is 1.5 miles on Left. There are toilets in the car park and during the pre walk there was a coffee van.
The walk will be 9kms (6 miles) in the morning with lunch at the Foresters Arms in Brockenhurst followed by a further 5.5kms (3 miles) walk in the afternoon.
The walk is largely on forest tracks but there will be muddy areas.
