Overview

Above Corbridge just to the east of the railway station.

The walk starts with a  climb up a tarmac lane (this is a severe zig zag climb which some might find extremely strenuous) for about 11/2 miles with excellent views over Corbridge & Tyne valley. There is chance of coffee break after another 11/2 miles along a quiet lane before following the signpost across field & down into the woods.

The ground is muddy in parts here but accessible. Once through the woods we join a track which takes us past individual houses and on to Ladycutter Lane which we follow for another mile before arriving back at the beginning of the walk.

There will be a refreshment stop en-route.

The walk is being lead by John MacKenzie.
