Overview

We start the walk by crossing Purston Park and then across a field to the Went Beck. Then onto West Hardwick and Hessle on quiet country lanes. Proceeding on paths to reach Mount Pleasant, Ackworth. Then onto Low and High Ackworth where we will have lunch and take the opportunity to view the grave of John Gully. From here we visit the hamlet of Hundhill. We then proceed back to our start point via country lanes/roads/paths passing the plague stone on the way until eventually reaching Purston Jaglin.
