We are the Ponteland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
On leaving Tyne Green Country Park in Hexham we proceed past St John Lee Church and then on to Acomb. Thereafter we take in Fallowfield Caravan site, Salmonswell Farm and then Target Wood on our way back to Hexham.
Paths, tracks, roads and woodland walks. No particularly steep climbs.
There will be a picnic lunch probably in Target Woods.

Tyne Green Country Park, Hexham DIRECTIONS: From Ponteland take the A69 to Hexham. Exit at the Hexham roundabout and take the first exit on the roundabout. Proceed down the hill and over the river and then at the next roundabout turn right into the car park.
