Please note that the start time for this walk is 11.00a.m. and NOT 10.30 a.m. as the park does not open until 11.00 a.m.
This walk is a moderate, circular walk of about five miles in Hulne Park, Alnwick and is on road, track and paths through woodland, by a stream and through pastures. There are a couple of hills but not too strenuous. The views are excellent and we pass an old priory on the way.
The meeting point for the walk is on Ratten Row on the approach to the Park gates.

Directions to the start point: Go through centre of Alnwick from south and turn right at the bus station into Lagny Street. Follow this street which becomes Dispensary Street and then Northumberland Street until you come to tee junction onto Bailiffgate. Turn left onto Bailiffgate and then bear immediately left onto Ratten Row.
Please aim to be at the meeting point by about 10.45 a.m.
There are no toilets at the start or on the walk. The nearest public toilets are in the Market Square in Alnwick.
