Overview

8.5 miles circular walk at moderate pace with some hills but no stiles. From Amersham Old Town we walk up to the edge of Top Amersham, through fields and woodland to Hyde Heath where we will stop for lunch.  Please bring food and drink for a picnic lunch. We continue through fields and woodland descending into Little Missenden, crossing the River Misbourne before following the South Bucks Way, passing Shardeloes and its lake on the way back to the start.
It could be wet and slippery underfoot on parts of the walk, walking boots and poles are recommended.

Well behaved dogs are allowed.
