We are the Hammersmith, Fulham & Wandsworth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 5.5 mile walk at a moderate pace along easy and flat paths, but expect some mud in places.
Route: Angel Canal, London Fields, Well Street Common, across Victoria Park, Hertford Canal, Globe Town to Bethnal Green.
Food: we will stop at a suitable place near London Fields where there are cafes, but please bring food as they could be busy or closed.
Drop-out-Points: several.
Travel: meet at Angel Underground on the Northern Line at 10.30 am, and toilets are available and close at hand in the shopping centre. Finish at Bethnal Green Underground on the Central Line at around 3pm.
A walk to and through the East End, and afterwards any one can who wishes can continue to Whitechapel with me for a drink at the Blind Beggar.
Meet at Angel Underground Station (Northern Line).
Finish at Bethnal Green Underground Station (Central Line).
