Overview

A walk around the villages of Congerstone, Shackerstone, Barton in the Beans, Carlton and returning to Congerstone. Helen has put this walk on to include canal towpaths, fields and open countryside.

Lunch will be taken at the Gate Hangs Well Pub in Carlton where cakes and hot drinks can be purchased but it is okay to consume your own food on the benches in the pub garden.

Toilets are available at the pub.

Dogs are welcome on the walk but must be kept on leads for certain parts including farm yards and a conservation area.

There is one stile on the walk.
