Overview

A mostly level moderate walk of around 8 miles with one steepish incline and six stiles. The walk starts at the Arrow Valley Country Park with the lake at its centre which we walk around on surfaced paths before heading across fields to the ruins of Bordesley Abbey and the Forge Mill Museum. We head north, away from the town, following the River Arrow, passing through a golf course and fields for lunch at St Leonard's Church, Beoley. The route back to the park includes a mix of green spaces and built-up areas.

Refreshments ae available afterwards at the park's Boathouse Cafe.
