We walk along the Arun river from Arundel to the Amberley bridge then along the other side of the river into Arundel Park Estate. In the estate we have a steep ascent and descent to the folly and back to the car park through the town where there are plenty opportunities for drinks etc. There are a few styles, one , mud and some paths are overgrown, but passable with care. Boots, long trousers and poles would be useful.

Mill rd. car park opposite the castle entrance. £5 payable by card/app There is free car parking on Mill Rd further down towards Swanbourne Lake and then walk back to the car park to meet up.
