Overview

Starting at the Clock Tower Cafe on Auchencruive Estate we will walk on various paths and woodland in the Estate working our way to link up with the River Ayr. We will then follow the River Ayr path down stream to Ayr College. We will return to Auchencruive  by a similar route.

TERRAIN: A mix of roadside pavements, surfaced paths, woodland trails (blaze, earth) and country roads. One short section along the busy A77 trunk road where there is a narrow pavement with no railing. One set of shallow steps with handrail. 

Nb. Walk is muddy in places so either waterproofs or gaiters recommended.
