Birnam Hill..... on the way up

Walking in Eastwood

Welcome to the Eastwood Ramblers group. Our members mainly come from Glasgow's South Side. You will find that we are a friendly bunch and always extend a warm welcome to visitors and prospective new members.

We are aiming to organise walks on Saturday's and mid-week Wednesdays. We used to meet up at Clarkston Halls car park to share lifts to the start of our walks, but COVID has prevented this recently. We’re looking forward to when we’ll be able to resume walking in our ‘normal’ way.

Join our walking community

We’re hoping to ramp up to our previous collection of walks, social events, bus trips and weekends away.  Please take a look at our website for details of our upcoming walks.

Campaign with us - protect the places we walk

Walking is a simple pleasure that should be open to everyone, so we campaign to remove barriers to walking and we protect the places we love to wander.
