This is a post Christmas dust down, all on good paths, with options to select 4 miles, or extend to 7.5 miles total distance. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a short lead throughout.
We will meet opposite the Chesters Pub Car park on Pinfold Lane, Balderton (NG24 3LL)
First walking 4 miles, possibly saying hello to the alpacas on our way to Balderton lake, and returning back to the Chesters Pub, where people have the option to end there, or even wait in the pub.
We will then walk 3.5 miles to circle Fernwood, taking in a view of the large Gypsum mine en-route, and returning back to the Chesters Pub. (Toilets can be used at the services as we walk past, if needed)
Given the time of year, we will have a short coffee/snack stop on the walk, but not a lunch stop.
