Walkers must book in advance with the walk leader
A short bus journey followed by a linear walk past Conic Hill, or over, if you are energetic. Excellent views of Loch Lomond and surrounding hills if the weather is kind.
We catch the 10:12 bus from Drymen to Balmaha and then walk back along the West Highland Way to Drymen with an option, for the more energetic walkers, to climb Conic Hill if wished.
Note:- Walkers can also join the bus in Balloch at 09:59. A return bus to Balloch from Drymen is available at 15:08, 16:38 or 18:08.
Local Grade: C+
Terrain: Reasonable, although sometimes rough, paths with a short distance along the road in Drymen. Reasonable hill path on final ascent of Conic Hill.
