Overview

An easy 7 mile walk starts through the Cuckoos' Nook nature reserve. The majority of paths are well-defined, with a few steps and a handful of stiles. We then follow the Rushall Canal before heading up to the Barr Beacon war memorial and dropping down to the cars.

Park on layby outside Walsall Garden Centre. Directions: From Monmouth Drive, turn right onto Chester Road. Turn left down Bakers Lane, then continue straight on at the roundabout onto Aldridge Road. At the next roundabout, take 1st exit onto Sutton Road/B4151. Go through a set of traffic lights and turn into the layby in front of Walsall Garden Centre.
