We are Herts Weekend Walkers, HWW for Short . We are aimed at people aged in their 40s, 50s & 60s who are normally working during the week and can usually only find time to get outside and enjoy a walk at the weekend.
This circular walk takes us along the Lea Valley. We start by heading east using the old railway line and when we reach the outskirts of Wheathampstead we cross the Lea Valley and start head west back to Batford via Marchall Heath and Mackerye End.
No need to pre-book or contact the leader in advance. If already a Ramblers member, please just bring your Ramblers card (or membership details on the app) to help speed up the Ramblers register before we start the walk.
