Overview

This is a walk to the north of Bath  that will give good views on a clear day.

From the starting point we walk around the edge of  Bath Racecourse, head for the viewpoint at Prospect Stile taking in views west and north. We pick up the Cotswold Way and  walk to the monument commemorating Sir Bevil Grenville. From here we follow field paths heading back to the Lansdown area of Bath, walking by Beckford's Tower and more views over the city.

Poles or sticks maybe useful.

Bring refreshments for 2 stops.
