Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.
A firm-favourite within TBR but not offered very often (!) this walk will take in the Bath skyline starting and finishing at Bath railway station.
The walk will take place on the first weekend of the 2023 Bath Christmas Markets so the city will be very busy and those attending should anticipate this. The walk will include an initial steady climb up on to the hills surrounding Bath and then the remainder of the walk will be mostly flat before finally descending back into the city.
Following the walk there will be time for those attending to explore the Christmas Markets before making their way back home at a time of their choosing
Those attending are encouraged to travel by public transport (coach or train), or to car share and use park and ride facilities into the city. The route will take place on way-marked paths, please come dressed appropriately for the weather. There will be limited opportunity to buy food or drink, or use facilities once we have left the city centre.
