A pleasant walk along the banks of the river Blyth, then through woodland and along Bedlington Front Street, finally making our way back to the start following the route of the river.
The walk is mainly flat, along good tarmac/concrete paths except for one small part where we walk on grass to reach the river bank and which may be muddy.
There is one steep climb when we move away from the river, but on a good solid road.
Some areas have been covered in mulch from leaves falling, and if it has been wet parts may be slippy.
There are no fields to cross or stiles to climb.
There are no toilet facilities at the start, but three quarters of the way round we are on Bedlington Front Street, with numerous shops and pubs.
