Ben Vane or Ben Vorlich

This walk will replace the planned Glas Tulaichean and Carn an Righ walk, the weather forecast is too windy and snowy for such a long day out. 

The forecast is better for the west, although still windy. I am therefore willing to offer an alternative walk tomorrow from the following:

• Ben Vane: 11km, 930m ascent, 4.5-6.5hrs from Inveruglas. 
• Ben Vorlich: 13.5km, 945m ascent, 5-6.5hrs from the same start point. 

I am unsure of the scrambling section on Ben Vane if the wind forecast is accurate, hence the slightly less scrambly ridge on Ben Vorlich option, although this has a long approach to the high point on a broad ridge. Both walks start along the same track so we can gauge which option to try. 

Anyway, as you can see, any A walk tomorrow is very weather dependent and if the forecast worsens I will not offer any walk. There is already a B and C alternative. 

So, if an A walk does go ahead prepare to be flexible please. We will meet at 7:30am at the West Port. Please do not ask to meet at the start point of the walk as I will be making decisions "on the fly".
