Overview

Strenuous walk from Pitlochry Dam Visitor Centre  free carpark (Armoury Rd) to Ben Vrackie  then return to visitor centre via Black Spout Woods.

Though not quite a munro Ben Vrackie (841metres) is a challenging walk. Following the descent, the walk will then continue onto the beautiful Black Spout waterfall in the Black Spout woods, before returning to the carpark. Magnificent views. Walk will be on  good tracks and woodland paths .

Muddy in some areas, gaiters /walking poles advised.  Can be chilly at the summit, weather unpredictable at times.
