12miles 1400ft of ascent.   Moderate.

From the CP we walk to Spring Wood and on to Biddulph Moor.  Walking south to Knypersley  Park, reservoir and town. Where we follow the Biddulph Valley Way before ascending to the Staffordshire Way coming off the ridge at Nick ith Hill to Whitemoor farm and returning to the Country Park. 

Bring pack lunch

There could be excess water because of melting snow and still some ice.  You may wish to use walking poles and gaiters.
