Welcome to the Ramblers East Cheshire Group. Our group covers an area which includes Bollington, Disley, Macclesfield, Poynton and Wilmslow. We are well situated to enjoy a wide range of walks in the Peak District, Wales and Shropshire.
Our group provides a wide range of walks to help you experience the joys of walking.
We also work with our local partners on rights of way and path improvement to ensure the outdoor is accessible to everyone.

East Cheshire Ramblers group, which was established in 1973, provides an extensive programme of walks led by local walkers. The walks aim to cater for all walkers. We offer walks for people who want a gentle stroll to those who want a rigorous long walk in tough terrain.
Our programme provides a great opportunity to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and well-being.
Our Footpath Team plays a vital role, working in partnership with Cheshire East. It ensures our footpaths are amongst the best maintained in the country.
We also offer an outstanding social programme which provides weekends away, coach trips, training, meals out and a chance to hear entertaining speakers.
We warmly welcome new members to try a walk with us, or to get involved in looking after our paths and green spaces.
