Overview

Two walks of around 9 and 7.5 miles respectively. The coach drops us at Biddulph Grange Country Park, then we walk through farmland and beautiful woodland along sections of the Biddulph Valley Way, Staffordshire Moorlands Walks Trail, the Staffordshire Way and the Gritstone Trail, with panoramic views over Staffordshire and Cheshire. We pass Mow Cop Castle, a folly built as a summer house in 1754, and the Old Man of Mow, a distinctive gritstone rock formation, before returning to the Country Park.
