We are the Gloucestershire Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Celebrate English apples and cider at the Big Apple Harvestime – an opportunity to enjoy the autumn countryside of Herefordshire in and around Much Marcle.
Meet at Much Marcle Memorial Hall for approx. 10:30 am start. Parking in the village.
A pleasant and interesting walk around the various venues, farms and barns taking part in the Big Apple Festival. Plenty of apple tasting, cider pressing, apple related cake, burgers, produce etc. on offer, though bring packed lunch if you prefer. The walk takes in many of the venues, with some walking on quiet lanes.
👉 Membership Details: This walk is organized by Ramblers and is free to join. Consider becoming a member after a few enjoyable walks with us.
👟 Attire and Footwear: Dress appropriately for the weather, and sturdy walking boots are highly recommended.
🐾 Pets Policy: Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted, except for registered assistance dogs. Please consult the walk leader regarding route suitability.
